What is Connect the World?

 

Connect the World International Festival is an annual event co-sponsored by the United Nations Association of Rochester and the Center for International Education at Nazareth College

 

 

When and Where is the Festival?

Connect the World 2007 will be held in the Shults Center at Nazareth College, on Saturday April 14th from 11:00-4:00 pm.

What does the festival offer?

This year, the Connect the World festival will have a great range of performers and exhibitors from around the globe.  There will be a variety of interactive demonstrators both adults and children.  

Who will be at the Festival?

The Several exotic restaurants in the Rochester area will be catering for the event in the Taste of the World room.  Connect the World 2007 organizers are planning to have a more diverse menu including Indian, Pakistani, Mediterranean, and Mexican cuisine.  All these elements come together to make this year's festival an event not to be missed

 

"We are expecting an attendance of about 800 community members...including college, high school and elementary school students" says Erica Vera, Co-President of UNAR and head of the organizing committee.
